Reviews run under the editor's byline; news runs under “Staff, Vape Press.” We publish no fabricated author biographies and claim no credentials we do not have — see the editorial policy for how the bylines work.

How we work

Rules are attributed to the instrument that sets them, with dates. Where something is a proposal or a consultation, we call it that rather than describing it as law. Product limits, enforcement outcomes and market figures come from published sources and are attributed. Comparative-risk statements about vaping and smoking are quoted from named public-health bodies with their date, and never rounded up into a claim that anything is safe.
